Vaccine Information
Individuals aged 18 years old or above:
- 1 dose
Infants aged 6 weeks to 15 months: 4 doses
- 1st dose: 2 months
- 2nd dose: 4 months
- 3rd dose: 6 months
- 4th dose (booster): 12 to 15 months)
According to the vaccination recommendations for high-risk adults from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
- Individuals aged 18 and above who have never received a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine may receive one dose of the Pneumococcal 20‑valent vaccine.
- Individuals who have received the Pneumococcal 15‑valent Conjugate Vaccine are recommended to receive the Pneumococcal 23‑valent vaccine.
- Individuals who have received the 13-valent Conjugate Vaccine are advised to consult with their doctor regarding the next vaccination.
